MW9

MW9 is a new joint venture between Baltimore based trumpeter/composer, Leo Maxey and Washington, DC area based reedman/composer, Billy Wolfe. The ensemble features original compositions and arrangements that contain an eclectic blend of free improvisation, gospel, hip hop, and swing.

The band's most recent show featured world-renowned saxophonist Jon Irabagon at An Die Musik in Baltimore, MD.
